ANALYSIS: Big Fish


The film “Big Fish” is a fantasy, comedy, drama movie produced by Tim Burton, directed by Bruce Cohen, Dan Jinks and Richard D. Zanucky, and released in 2003. It is based on a book: Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions, by Daniel Wallace.The company Movies Columbia Pictures is a distributor of  “Big Fish”. The film has 125 minutes of running time. The main character is Ed Bloom, (played by many actors) he is a man who likes to tell his life through fantasy stories. It was always very difficult for his son, because he considered his father a liar.
The film shows the life of Edward Bloom, and how he sees his life. The problem lies in the hard reunion between father and son, Edward Bloom in old age, affected by a disease that weakens every day. In my opinion, it is an is a simple movie that shows the beautiful side of life and all your fantasy. Tells the story of a man and his stories. After all we all have our stories to tell, do not we? The soundtrack of the movie is great “Big Fish” is the soundtrack, on the Sony Classical label, of the 2003 film “Big Fish”. The original score and songs were composed by Danny Elfman, the best musics are: "Man of the Hour" - Pearl Jam (3:45),"Dinah" - Bing Crosby (2:17),"Everyday" - Buddy Holly (2:09),"All Shook Up" - Elvis Presley (1:58),"Five O'Clock World" - The Vogues (2:10),"Ramblin' Man" - The Allman Brothers Band (4:57),"Let's Work Together" - Canned Heat (3:13). It is a good fil for all Family, very emocionated and delicated.
